The Libyan Fulbright

Foreign Student Scholarship Program

Fostering mutual understanding between the people of Libya and the United States through educational and cultural exchange.

The United States Embassy is pleased to announce that more than 450 people applied for Fulbright Student scholarships for Libyans to pursue post-graduate study in the United States of America beginning the academic year 2007-2008.  Click for general information on the Fulbright Program.

Applications are now closed. No applications submitted after midnight June 15, 2006 will be accepted.

For those who submitted completed applications, you will be notified if you qualify for the next round of interviews.
